Good Afternoon Hillary,

  Well on your advice and thinking things over I continued to correspond with Strategic Books.  They sent me a contract to read today

  and it look pretty good to me.  A lot less involved than the Tate contract was that I had my lawyer read.  He didn't like it at all.

  He hasn't read this one but it sounds good to me.

  I thought I had to be self publishing with this company but that is not the case.  I do have to provide my own illustrations that they

  are estimating a cost as high as $2500. along with their cost of $895. and a possible editing cost of $95. so it is still going to

  cost me money to get started. I am already going to ask the artist they supply me with if the cost on a second book with same characters

  will hopefully cost less if the first book takes off enough to do the second one next year.

  It is a bit funny that they said they will publish the book without even reading the MS because they think the illustrations by their artist

  will sell the book.  That in a children's picture book the pictures do the selling but for me just getting the first book published to prove

  myself  will work for me. I sure hope this works out, if I make my investment back on the first one I will go ahead with another.

  I have a new one called Little Bear and Honey Bee that I am working on.  

  Well just thought you might like to know that I am really considering Strategic Books and I did tell them I contacted them on your

  recommendation.  (for whatever that may be worth)

  If your interested I will keep you updated on the sales, the contract says book has to be released in 12 months or less from the signing

  of the contract.
